Reality TV AU Hikari

To keep in mind.

Red- He's become something of a fashion icon. He normally advises on a modeling type show for Pokemon. Appears more comfortable with them as opposed to humans.
Hikari is one of the few friends he enjoys being with in the business. He doesn't exactly agree with her reasons for being on reality television, but he suggests if she's going to continue it, then to avoid the scripted ones and go for something than can help improve herself, learn a new skill. Currently he's bugging her into auditioning for an upcoming drag queen makeover show for women.

Blue(FR Red)- He gained popularity for being Red's younger brother, but in fact they are stepbrothers. Prone to being gimmicky, he convinced Red to audition with him on a modeling show where Red's career took off. Red casted him in a few editorials. Blue's terrible runway walk that existed when they first auditioned came back to bite him. Currently he's been on a couple seasons of a show where 8 different people occupy a penthouse. Hikari's accused him of being a lazy good for nothing, and her of being a fake and annoying.

Leaf- She met Hikari on a panel dating game show where the ladies were in charge. Despite being on for a few weeks and unable to find anyone, she and Hikari became good friends to the point Hikari became overprotective of her. Lead realized her mistake coming on the show, leaving. She would emerge a few years later on a paranormal investigation show. She wants to become a journalist, enjoying the scientific and possible otherworldly explanations she's coming across. She has yet to admit it to her face, but Hikari had more than a bit of a crush than her..that may still exist. She is more cheerful around her.

Hibiki/Ethan- He's known typically as a former lacrosse middie who does a lot of charity work. He's active in others, his second love is dance. He actually auditioned for a dance program a couple years ago and made it quite far, specialty contemporary. Scandals say that he fought with the staff on the show, leading to being kicked out. Hikari and friends of his know this to be false. Hibiki's dancing has also been caught on camera lots with Red, leading to (hot) speculation. Nowadays on other charity based reality shows gaining money for charities, mainly those promoting Pokemon rights. Also a paranormal investigator on the same show as Leaf. Hikari's initmidated by his outgoing personality. He doesn't notice this, but does find her stiff.

Kris/Crystal- She's started out as a host, eventually leading a lot of hidden camera types shindigs that usually startle people, both "regular" people and celebrities alike. Particularly gets a riot out of upsetting celebs the best. Very committed into the business, has something of a say in shows that lack brains. She wants to get into home refurnishing type shows as of late because of a comment Hikari made to her, but no one is realistically willing to take her on. Her and Hikari competed many a time, her usually winning out of her more positive energy.

Kotone/Lyra- She and an intimate friend participated in a race around the world show. After the show, relations broke between the two, and she gained a new love for excitement, adrenaline. Some people up top saw that she was a favored contender and set her in similar athletic shows. Her performance dropped, unable to work in teams. She eventually met Hikari, the only human partner she got along with. Kotone reminds her to lay off the fatty foods and to keep running. Hikari's used to being yelled/attacked by Kotone.

Yuki/Brendan- He used to be a heavy guy until his dad submitted him onto a reality show to help him lose weight. He came out victorious looking completely different. He hails from a well known family that started a bunch of Gym variety shows. He hates the spotlight. He's currently on a show that helps those that lack the money to redecorate/refurbish their homes. Hikari remembers him for being quiet.

Haruka/May- Her father and Yuki's father were connected, and they were set to wed on the spot. She never forgave Yuki for convincing her to go on a wife swapping program, even though the intention was to annoy both of their fathers. Despite this history, she likes matchmaking people. She's an investigator on the same show Leaf and Hibiki are on, and she's always trying to get them together, much to Hikari's annoyance.

Touya- Unova's number one food critic. He already owns several successful resteraunts and has been through every job in the food industry. He never saw himself as a television person, but he decided it would be effective on teaching people how to eat better. A bti of a health nut, he's good friends with Kotone. He's usually a relaxed, determined individual, but sometimes he is tested. Hikari has seen this legendary temper on more than one occasion, so she tries to stay on his good side. She does a very bad job.

Touko- Until she was put on a makeover show, she was often picked on for her quirks and her lack of fashion sense. With the new confidence, she set out on a televised talent show program. She wasn't the best singer, but her energy was attactive. After that, she got pretty cocky, using all available media channels to sell her not so critically acclaimed album. Some report that she had bits of plastic surgery done. Hikari misses the girl she met first the talent show.

Koki/Lucas- He's a recognizable face on those that watch survivor like shows. To those who are true finatics, he started reality television as a pageant child (NEVER MENTION THIS). He first came into attention by being hired by the show as the "deciever" character that ruined the other contestants exploits. He got far in other survival shows after that. He decided at one point he was missing love and ended up on a romantic in the wild show with Hikari. Her lack of fitness cost both of them a major win, Koki unable to forgive her ever for that (his backhanding her was also caught on camera). The humiliation cost him other gigs, so he agreed to a show that televised his life. He hates it, but he's set on clearing his reputation.

Kyouhei- Comes of as arrogant, but he rarely is the gambling type. Makes his own luck. He's the heir to the originally undesirable pawn shop his mother owned. He's succeeded in reinventing the place, and opening several places around Unova. He is currently a favorite in an auction hunters type show. Hikari has been a guest star a few times, partnering with Kyouhei. They're pretty catty together.

Mei- She and a few others are being filmed as upcoming nannies. She's new to the world of reality television. She can't stand the constant barraging and lack of privacy. Hikari unwillingly is helping her get adjusted to the new lifestyle. She has a habit of getting spoiled on a regular basis unintentionally so that pisses of Hikari either.
